Self-respect is one of the most important gifts we can offer the recipient of our survival kits. That means we have a simple rule: no junk. 

We’ve worked hard to ensure each backpack is filled efficiently and responsibly, while selecting the best quality items that will serve our recipients through harsh winters and hot summers. Thanks to the generosity of community partners, each backpack has an out-of-pocket cost of about $40, and contains approximately 50 items worth $60 to $70.
